Our heritage on Curaçao dates back to 2006 and started with a licensed vehicle that specialized in providing trust and corporate services: BK (Antilles) N.V. The company was renamed BK Group Curaçao N.V., following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010, the integration of the former senior management of Van Lanschot Management Company N.V. in 2012, and the merger with Trust Alliance Curaçao B.V. in 2013.

Regulatory Status
BK Group Curaçao N.V. is regulated by the central bank of Curaçao and Saint Martin (Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten) and has a license to operate as a trust service provider (verlener van beheersdiensten).
The supervision on trust service providers resulted from the enactment of the National Ordinance on the Supervision of Trust service providers (Landverordening toezicht trustwezen), N.G. 2003, no. 114.
BK Group Curaçao N.V. is a member of the Curaçao International Financial Services Association (CIFA) – “representative association of professionals in the international financial services sector of Curaçao”.
